Support ASMS Key Club to compete at ICON

Select members of the Key Club from the Alabama School of Mathematics and Science are planning to attend International Key Club Convention in Washington D.C. on July 3, 2013. Three of our members won the opportunity to compete at the International Convention in the Oratorical, Talent, and Non-Traditional poster competitions. We are requesting monetary donations to help offset the initial cost of the event. Any donation amount will be greatly appreciated.
International Convention directly benefits charities such as March of Dimes, UNICEF, and the Eliminate Project. In addition, International Convention will raise awareness of maternal neo-natal tetanus, a deadly preventable disease that thousands of babies and mothers die from each year; this is a disease that Key Club is striving to remove in its entirety. This convention will promote the development of a service oriented youth that will benefit society immediately as well as in the future.
We are asking for the chance to represent our school, our local communities, and the entire state of Alabama at this International Convention which will have delegates from every State in America as well as countries across the world.
