MillenniumMS:OM Worlds Team Travel Costs
On April 6, 2013 the Odyssey of the Mind team at Millennium Middle School won 1st Place in the State of Florida for Problem 3: ARTchitecture: The Musical.
The tireless hours that the team and coaches put into this competition since September 2012, is simply amazing. The pure joy expressed by the team after they won was one of the most wonderful experiences of my life. Knowing how hard they all worked, to see the tears and smiles was fantastic.

The victory has given them a spot in the Odyssey of the Mind 2013 World Finals held at Michigan State University from May 22 - 25, 2013.

After the haze of victory has subsided, a stark reality has set in. The cost of sending 7 children, 2 coaches, Chaperones, and equipment to Michigan from Florida, for 6 days will run us around $10,000 in total.
While a small portion of this cost will be handled by families and the school, the bulk is needed through fundraising. This is where you can help. If you have the means to share, even just a little bit, to help these amazing kids and coaches move on to the World Finals, it would mean a tremendous amount to all those involved.
ALL FUNDS collected via this site will be used to send the team to Michigan.
