Our friend and co-worker's son was a victim of gun violence on Saturday, June 20th, 2020 in Chicago. We are trying to raise money to help cover the unexpected funeral costs and any other costs that may arise from this horrific situation. Any donation at this time is incredibly helpful.
Brandon McGhee was 23 years old when killed by seemingly random gun violence.
His mother, LaDonna, is our friend and co-worker at Steppenwolf. She has a gorgeous soul and is a reliable friend and listener for everyone at Steppenwolf, taking on a constant load of emotional support. It is our turn to try and do what we can to help her through this time. A mother should never have to grieve the loss of a child.
