Mike's Medical Expenses

For those of you who know Kerri or I, have probably heard us talk about our awesome family friend Mike Stauner. He's like an uncle to us. We've grown up hunting and fishing with him. He's a great guy to be around and an inspiration to many. While he might be quadriplegic, since his accident over 30 years ago he has worked full time, lived independently, and learned to enjoy life no matter the circumstances. Unlike many in his situation, he has taken on life's challenges and doesn't look for sympathy or pity. Over the last two months, he has suffered from severe, unremitting hip pain. Doctor's have been unable to successfully treat the pain and are still questioning the exact source. He has been seen by several specialists in the Twin Cities and is currently down at the Mayo. Unlike most of us, his situation is a little more complicated being he has no muscular stability in his joints, can't stand/walk to change positions, and being he can't comfortably sit in his wheelchair, has been confined to spending most of his time in bed. He hasn't been able to work for the past two months and medical bills continue to pile up as the doctors search for answers. We are hoping to raise some money to help out with Mike's medical expenses. Any amount is greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your donations and prayers.
