Maya Point is an experiential education destination. This Caribbean island is a learning and food producing sanctuary, where knowledge and self reliance strategies are shared through cooperative and collective business models.
Guests and volunteers will return to their homes with experiences that can be adapted to their communities. Inspiration spreads fast, and this connection will plant the seeds of direct action, ecologically aware living, and community cohesiveness into the lives of others.
This fund raiser is to help us buy an engine for our boat, our only safe means of transportation. Additionally, these funds will allow us to purchase educational materials and build a playground at Escuela Valle de Agua.
