Jabberwock Schlshp Cotillion for Mikayla

Hello, I'm Mikayla and I have been selected to participate as a debutante in the Columbus Ohio, Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. 2013-2014 Jabberwock Scholarship Program and Cotillion.
Jabberwock debutantes are young ladies who exemplify poise, leadership, scholarship and respect within their schools and community. I will engage in various social, educational and community service activities that will encourage future success.
At the end of our Jabberwock season, I will celebrate with a grand ball (Cotillion) for family and friends to attend.
Throughout the course of the year (2013 - 2014), I will need to raise $1000 which will go towards my individual fund raising efforts which is not limited to recruiting sponsors for the souvenir booklet. This is a scholarship fund raising event and the funds ($1000) raised are my responsibility as a debutante. The registration fee was $500.00 and that has already been raised and paid. (The $1000 funds is separate funds).
I am a Senior at Worthington Christian High School. My g.p.a. is 3.5 and I want to be a Pharmacist. I am looking at University of Cincinnati to study pre-pharmacy in Fall of 2014. This Cotillion is occurring during my Senior year which as many know will already be a hectic time especially with applications and scholarships. I already anticipate also trying to raise money for my Senior's mission's trip to Dominican Republic (that'll occur in March/April 2014). I NEED YOUR SUPPORT AND ENCOURAGEMENT!
I am involved in other community events and I hold various leadership roles and volunteers whenever available. I am very energetic teenager who has a wonderful future ahead.
Would you please help me reach my goal today?

If you would like to attend the Cotillion Ball, you can purchase tickets through my parents. They are $40.00 each. I would love to see familiar faces in the crowd when I have to do my debutante solo or when I dance with my dad. It's going to be a special night so please mark your calendars for Saturday, April 5, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. at the Bridgewater Banquet Center in Powell. As a debutante, I have to also sale 16 tickets so that is why I made my goal so high to also purchase tickets for people to attend who may not be able to but want to support my endeavors.
