On August 8th, 2016 Burt Snyder (age 72) left this world to be in a better place. We don't yet know the official reason, but we're told it was likely a heart attack.
It is a shock to have lost this amazing man who has given to so many - as a husband, father, brother, attorney, handyman, running & training partner, fishing mate, shooting mate... or just the guy who mowed his neighbor's grass to be kind.
My dad loved knowledge. He loved a good challenge. He loved to run, build things, take things apart and build them again. He loved Pavarotti and Bocelli. He loved Christmas. He loved his beautiful and loving wife of 32 years, Polly, his three children Nathan, Carly and Austin, his twin brother Bob and brother Chip, daughter-in-law Bethany, son-in-law Tucker, his grandchildren Jade and Trey, the Uhl family, and his nieces and nephews. And he loved peanut butter.
Burt relocated from Honolulu, Hawaii to Trinity, Texas with Polly in the Fall of 2015. It was to be a new chapter in their life. A chapter cut unfortunately short.
Burt had a full shoulder replacement in April 2016, and had plans to replace the other one this Fall.
In lieu of flowers, we would greatly appreciate any donation big or small to assist with medical bills related to his shoulder surgery and his passing.
