Thanks for viewing The Michael Burtch Wooden Nickel Scholarship Fund page. We are raising money to support this fund in honor of our father. He was a teacher at Cunningham Elementary School in Turlock, CA for 39 years. We meet people all the time who tell us he was their favorite teacher or their kid's favorite. Sometimes he was both. Needless to say, education meant a great deal to him.
The money raised here will be offered as a scholarship to students who attended Cunningham, are graduating from Turlock High School, and will attend a university. This is something he would have really liked to have in his honor. Please help us keep his memory alive by contributing to this scholarship fund.
