My name is Clarence Darden and sometime Monday night or early Tuesday morning on 8/2/16 someone senselessly shot my mother, Trina Bolar in her own home. Not only was she my mother, she was also a mother to my sister, a grandmother to her grandchildren, a friend to so many and a neighbor everyone said hello to. We are all deeply saddened by this horrible tragedy.
My mother was found just inside the doorway to her home in Madison Valley (capital hill) by someone passing by on the street in front of her house. My mother did not have insurance or money set aside for funeral expenses. Most people don’t think they will die when they are only 51. The cost of her funeral expenses have been put on my sister and me to pay for. After some research, it looks like the cost for the most basic funeral service is about $3000. That does not include the cost of her casket, the burial plot at the cemetery, the burial charges from the cemetery, taxes or the county fees.
This all adds up so quickly and was so unexpected. We will be eternally grateful for anything you can help with. We are still in the process of making arrangements and planning the services. The final date and location hinges on how much money we can raise.
