This is Patrick's story
In 2004 at the age of 32 Patrick was diagnosed with colon cancer, he underwent surgery to remove the tumor and then went through chemo and radiation treatments. It was a long journey and he went through a lot but he beat it! He has taken excellent care of his body and works out regularly. He has been diligent with doctor appointments and blood work to stay on top of the monster we all know as cancer.
He has just recently been given some terrible news. He has another cancerous tumor that will need to be removed followed by chemo treatments. He was living in California for a few months due to a job change and just moved back to Arizona where he has resided for the last 12 years. He has a job lined up in Arizona but now he needs surgery as soon as possible and will not be able to work. The medical costs are building up already and he has a tough road ahead of him.
I am Kathy his oldest sister and with the help of my daughter Kandace and my sister Laurie we thought if we put together a fundraiser to help him through this journey it would help him financially and even more it will show him how much people can pull together to help each other out. He is a wonderful, funny, loving person and we want him around for a long time!
