Beth Smith Rendleman, Never Fight Alone

So young, beautiful, genuine, a loving mother, and our best friend going through one of the most challenging times in her life. She has always been a strong woman, now fighting for her life.

She has been diagnosed at the age of 57, with shocking news upon awaking from exploratory surgery and removal of two tumors, one the size of a cantaloupe, other the size of a tennis ball. This is a rare form of aggressive, Stage 4, Appendiceal Cancer. The initial cancer was discovered in the appendix and has metastasized throughout her bloodstream and other organs including her lungs. Mom has been fighting this battle since January, had numerous tests, and procedures that were never recognized to identify the problem. She had an emergency complete hysterectomy 2 weeks ago and still recovering. The physicians recommend her beginning aggressive Chemotherapy to try and control the cancer.

We are currently trying to get her admitted to MD Anderson Cancer Center in Texas where the physicians specialize in Appendiceal Cancer.

She is facing many challenges physically, emotionally, and financially.  Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers, to help support her fight against the battle as "we never fight alone"! As we all know, with God, family, and friends, we are all positive and confident she will prevail over cancer.
