Mark's Back Surgery - URGENT!

Thank you for taking the time to come to my page. I ask that you please read the information below and if you can donate $25 USD or any amount less/more it would be a GREAT help. This is a very urgent medical case that was brought to my attention today and I at least wanted to pass this along to my good friends who I feel comfortable telling/asking to help.

Since he has been home his condition has gotten worse. The diagnosis was he fractured a vertebrae and it can only be fixed by back surgery with a metal implant. He has been in the hospital bedridden for 2 months now and if he does not have surgery this month doctors say he will most likely become paralyzed. His brother said his condition is very bad and he has gotten very weak and lost hope.

His brother, Carlito, is still working in China ( at my company) and trying to send money back to cover his hospital stay. They are from a very poor family and can't afford his treatment and medical bills. They can not even afford to purchase the metal part needed to fix his back.

If you could please help by donating $25 or any amount less/more that you are comfortable with I would greatly appreciate it. Hearing today from his brother he most likely will be paralyzed due to inability to pay really hit me hard because Mark is such a bright and young person. They would never ask for money but we forced out how much was needed to cover costs because we know at the end of the day they simply wouldn't be able to afford this.
