Raymond Nelms has been a coach at Absolute Volleyball Academy (AVA) of Texas for the past 6 years.  His daughter, Keegan, and son, Ross, have also played in our program throughout their childhood.

On Sunday, July 31, 2016, while returning from a family reunion at Garner State Park, Raymond's wife, Jerri, and Ross were towing a trailer behind their vehicle when a tire blew.  The blown tire caused them to get into a serious accident where both Jerri and Ross had to be lifeflighted to nearby hospitals.

Jerri and Ross are now in stable conditions and are expected to recover, however, that road of recovery will be a long and strenuous one.  We are not sure when they are going to be able to be released, so for the time being we are asking everyone to please help out the Nelms family.  We are hoping to raise some funds to help them through this and are asking for numerous prayers from you!

The Nelms' are truly wonderful people and it is devastating that they have to experience this.  On behalf of the Nelms family, AVA sincerely thanks you for your prayers and assistance during this time.
