<div>Well known to the Seaside community, John Morris is currently facing one of the toughest battles of his life. After being diagnosed with cancer, he recently underwent an extensive and difficult surgery. While we are so grateful he made it through, his journey is far from over.

</div>

<div>His loving wife, Dona, has been by his side every step of the way. She’s staying in a hotel near the hospital so she can be close to him during his recovery — and they also have their sweet little puppy, Missy at a boarding facility which is adding up. They thought they would be home by now, but with some bumps in the road they are having to stay longer than planned.

</div>

<div>If you are lucky enough to know John, you know he’s the first to show up when someone needs help. He has always donated his time, skills, and heart to serve others. Giving back is simply who he is.
