Help Dwight get back on his feet

On behalf of friends, family and colleagues we would to like to raise much needed funds for our great mate Dwight.
In June, Dwight was hit with what appeared to be a common cold, which over the course of a month progressed quickly into pneumonia, eventually landing him in the ER at Sir Charles Gardiner Hospital. Whilst the symptoms he presented were similar to those of pneumonia, his diagnosis soon evolved into advanced heart failure stemming from childhood congenital heart problems.
Over the past few months in and out of hospital and an unrelenting series of tests and procedures, the complications and complexity of Dwight's condition has unfolded and resulted in the need for an urgent heart and lung transplant. With only 1-2 transplants performed each year and as one of the most complicated surgeries the human body can undergo, the path ahead will be long and taxing for Dwight.
For anyone that knows Dwight, his generosity, loving nature and incredible compassion for those around him is inspiring. Through his annual charity art event, IHART, initially inspired by his childhood medically challenges, he has raised significant fund over the years for The Heart Foundation, Cancer Council and Shenton Park Dog refuge. Dwight has given so much to the world around him and it's now time to give back and lend a helping hand.
Funds raised will go towards Dwight's ongoing medical and equipment costs, dietary requirements, rehab and travel expenses and general loss of income.
