Max Valdivia

Dear Family and Friends, a lot of you know my dad as "Big Max” or “Max". For those that know him, they know he is a great, caring, happy, giving, and funny guy, who would do anything for his friends and family. All you had to do was ask.

Around 2003 he discovered he had diabetes which he tried to fight off for a couple of years. But unfortunately it took a bad turn and took his left leg. Since then we as a family have had many adjustments and new challenges to help my dad get better and walk again. Off and on through the years he got better, and then would get worse. In 2006 he discovered he had kidney failure and now had to start doing dialysis 3 times a week to get rid of toxins and excess water from his body. He has been very strong and has been doing dialysis ever since. Just recently his body has become very tired and vulnerable to fight off any kind of sickness. His kidneys are now starting to fail and he is starting to become weaker everyday. We don't know how much more time we will have with our dad...

I didn't think that I would ever need to write on this “Gofundme”, and it is very hard writing this now...

But at this time I am asking with a heavy heart if family and friends can help my dad Max with medical costs and home care and any future hardships we will face when the time comes.
