My name is Cetacea Kai Stanton. I am from Washington state, and I am 24 years old. I identify as both a gypsy and an explorer because of the draw I feel to new places and experiences. I love food and adventure, and I am really excited about what lays on my horizon this year.
I opened this GoFundMe campaign to raise support for my year of ministry at Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry (BSSM). It will be my second year at BSSM and this year, my heart is to take what I've been learning out and apply it in the "real" world. I experienced so much growth and healing in my first year of ministry school and I cannot wait for what is still coming.
In this campaign I am raising support for part of my tuition for school as well as funds for my missions trips throughout the school year. This year I will have the opportunity to apply to as many trips as my school is offering and I would like to take advantage of some of those opportunities.
The first trip that I am looking to take is actually before school even starts and it is with a seperate ministry. I found out about this trip and that I was going on it only about a month before our departure date. It feels a little last minute but God really put this trip on my heart. I will be leaving August 27th and returning the 4th of September, the cost of the trip is $1050, and we will be working in Nevada. While we are there we will be setting up a camp at a festival and looking to provide a safe place and share the love of Jesus with whoever comes to us. That $1050 will cover my admission into the festival, camp fees, building expenses, personal items (headlamps, facemasks for dust storms, etc.), as well as day to day expenses (food and COFFEE ha ha). The ministry hosting this trip has been extremely flexible and generous considering the late notice and has given me August 10th as a deadline for my payment.
Next, I have $4100 remaining to pay for my tuition but if I were to have $3875 by August 24th I would qualify to get an early payment discount of $225 which I could then put towards my overall missions funds for the rest of the year. That $225 could even pay for all of a domestic ministry trip based here in California. So my goal is to get that $3875 and take advantage of the discount and call me crazy but I think we can totally do it :).
So then in my campaign goal of raising $7500, after this trip in August and my tuition, that leaves $2350 to $2575 (if that discount can be applied) to use for my missions trips throughout the year. I would be able to go on several small trips, I could go on an international missions trip and a few small ones, or I could even go on a very large trip that in the past I would have thought was too scary of a price to fundraise. One of the coolest parts of this year is that my ministry school has such a heart for missions, they put $700 of my tuition towards my missions because they want to guarantee that students will be able to go on ministry trips throughout the year. With the completion of my GoFundMe campaign and the $700 set aside from my tuition, that is $3275 that I will be able to use towards missions trips this year. That is so exciting!
I've been learning how big God is throughout my entire life but especially time and time again since I started at BSSM. Whether it's in fundraising, in the classroom, or on the missions field - I am just so excited to see how God is going to show up this year. And I am super excited to see how He calls me to co-labor with what He is doing. Just like when I was a little girl and loved to follow my dad around helping him with whatever tasks he would let me - I love to help my heavenly Father when He lets me help with the work that He is doing.
Every $1, $5, $20, $50, $100 donation helps. Every prayer helps (the prayers of the righteous are powerful and effective - James 5:16). And every "like" or "share" on helps as well!
