Helping the Needy

I am as human as I was created to be.  I value life and needs of others.  I am trying to raise money to help the needy.  More specific the homeless on the streets and the people God puts  in my life to help.  I currently collect food donations for the needy, most of them are parents with kids in school or any other family that has a need.  However, the one that breaks my heart is the homeless.  Though I can buy breakfasts for those I see in my morning runs in downtown, it is not enough. Once a year we have the Blanket Banquet event (you can check out this event in the Internet)  in the streets of downtown. Though I ask for donations from companies to buy basic necesities like hygiene items, underwear for men and women and food, I don't always get lucky. People need food all year round. There are so many opportunities to help but funds are not easy to come by. The goal is $1000 but in reality this is a year round need.  If you have the opportunity and the means to help, please help.  Your Heavenly Father will bless you in so many ways.  In HIS name I ask.
