<div>As everyone knows we have had a few rough years especially my husband Kevin. 5 years ago he lost one of his legs due to a diabetic foot ulcer and he took it like a champ. As soon as he could start walking with his prosthetic he was up and moving around like he never lost his legs. Naturally we all adjusted to our new way of living but then we got the news that Kevin has stage 4 colon cancer 3 years ago. Again, Kevin handled having cancer better than anyone else I have known. He didn’t let it get the best of him and did chemo every two weeks which made him sick as a dog but he was still up and working on cars and helping anyone who needed help even if they didn’t have the money to pay him. He continued to help and work all the way up till a few months ago when we got the news that his kidneys were failing and the cancer has spread throughout his whole body. Although chemo didn’t take him down, dialysis has been really rough on his body. He lost his voice and can hardly walk now. We found out he has only a short amount of time left with us. We do not have life insurance because honestly, he is so young, only 39 years old and after his leg and being a diabetic, life insurance wasn’t an option and then once he got diagnosed with cancer there wasn’t anyone willing to give us life insurance. So I am asking for help because we don’t have the funds for me to take care of once he has gone. I don’t have the money to cover funeral expenses, I can’t take time off to grieve or take care of any debts he left behind because again no life insurance and if I don’t work I don’t get paid. So if anyone can help us even if you don’t have money to help please share this go fund me so othered may have a chance to help. Kevin is still with us, thank God! However he doesn’t have a lot of time left. I am trying to get everything in order and hopefully raise enough money to handle all that needs to be handled from funeral expenses to bills and time off. I need time to be here with our daughter so she can have her mother around when she loses her step dad who has been in her life since she was 3 yrs old.
