Derek Maggard's medical funds

This picture was taken of Derek this past summer — when he wasn’t shaving, but it is my most recent picture of him.  (I did cut his hair for him that day and we whacked off the beard).

Some have asked if there is anything they can do for Derek’s family besides pray.  While there are things that my parents have been doing like taking care of the yard, cutting his bushes, rides to dialysis, cooking  etc...family and friends far away would not be able to help with these things.   We know that 2020 has been a very hard year for many people, so are not asking ANYONE to give; however if you are able to help them out with their mounting medical costs, here is a way to bless their family.  

Derek has been in the hospital twice in the past month, the first time for just the weekend, and the second for an entire week.  Many tests were done during this time and treatments administered.  While the couple does have medical insurance, it does not seem to cover a large part of the hospital costs.  They received their first bill this past week for his first short hospital stay and it was $4K.  They have not received the bill yet from his second hospital stay (which was much longer)......so I just put a high fundraising goal because we know it will be much more than the first bill.  Let's show their family love and support any way we can.  Any amount is appreciated.
