Cyndee Bennett Medical Fund

Cyndee has been a good friend and co worker of mine for the past 4 years. I was so excited when she told me the news of her engagement earlier this year. She quickly began planning the wedding of her dreams, when one day she started having excruciating stomach pain. She went to her primary care physician to see what the cause was, and was told not to worry it is probably stress from wedding planning. That diagnosis didn't sit well with Cyndee and she pursued further testing. Several thousand dollars later, Cyndee was surprised by the news that cancerous cells were detected in her colon. How? She is one of the healthiest people I know! After consulting with Moffitt, She learned she needed surgery to remove a rather large tumor from her colon. Cyndee had the surgery and learned the cancer had spread to some stomach lining and she would need to under go chemo treatment for at least 6 months.Cyndee has remained extremely optimistic throughout this whole ordeal but I am sure the financial burden can become overwhelming.
