Missing Teen Father Found Deceased

Our 16 year old son Josh “Talon” Anderson went missing on May 30th after calling a friend saying he was stuck in the desert with no ride and no water. The sheriffs dept labeled him as a “habitual runaway” when we called to report it and would not send out search and rescue at that time. As parents, we searched the desert for weeks as much as we could to no avail.

We were notified yesterday, Sept 10th, that hunters found a body on the 8th of Sept in the desert near our sons last known location and that dental records confirmed it was the body of our son.

Funeral expenses are tremendous for us. Talon leaves behind a 1 year old son and girlfriend (that we moved in with us when he went missing) and has young siblings that want and need to be here for his services.  We don’t know how we can financially make this happen in the time frame the medical examiner has given us to make arrangements for our son’s body (2 wks)
