This fundraiser is to help a stray cat, lovingly dubbed Buddy with vet expenses. Buddy was found hobbling around on three-legs outside in frigid negative degree temperatures.

He was taken in for an exam, x-rays, neutering, and vaccines. The vet diagnosed Buddy with septic arthritis in his knee. Both visual inspection and x-rays show significant deterioration of his leg muscle from non-use. He has likely been suffering with this very painfully condition for some time now.

Buddy has already incurred $750 of vet expenses with a need for ongoing pain medications, antibiotics, vet visits and care.

The vet he's been seeing is optimistic about him not needing leg amputation and regaining use of his leg with proper treatment. He is currently awaiting lab results to determine the next course of action.
