Funeral Expenses for our mom

This is our mother, Dawn Thompson. She was a strong, fun-loving, movie-quoting, Brooklyn-reppin', no nonsense woman.  She had a big heart and loved her family beyond anything else. She also committed her life to helping others, whether it was making a better life for her daughters or supporting countless clients in various independent living facilities she worked at. She was a phenomenal mother and grandmother, a loving sister and aunt, and a caring and compassionate human being. 

She was our madre, maman, and champeroon. We love her so much and need help in raising funds for her service. After a short battle with liver cirrhosis, she passed away quietly on the morning of November 9, 2017. 

This service will be the last gift that we can give to our mother.  We need help because due to her already existing health issues, we were unable to obtain life insurance.  If you are able, please help us give our mom her final send off. All funds raised will go directly to the funeral expenses.
