Special Needs Orphanage

Life in Mexico can be tough...
Unless you have been there...you really have no idea what it is like.  I can describe it to you, and it won't compare to what you would experience in person.

The basic needs aren't always so easy to come by...
We've had times at the campus where there has been no water available. There are limited resources and you have to be content with what there is.

While we are in Mexico we go to serve:
-An Orphange with 17 special "kids"...  In Mexico when an orphanage takes in a child with special needs they know they are going to be caring for that child for the rest of their life.  A few of "the kids" have been at this orphanage for over 25 years and are in their late 30's to mid 40's.  All of them require 24-7 care.

- At a Bible College campus ...
This campus will eventually house 800 students.  Located on 26 acres in the dry low desert of Mexico, they are relying solely on teams to come and build something that lasts.  Not just structures, oh no, building up others in Christ to go out and share His good news through establishing new churches in Mexico and other countries.

We would love to be able to provide specifically on this trip in the following ways.

1. Medical supplies + Donation for the orphanage
with several of the kids requiring 24-7 care, if you could help your donation would go to alleviate some of the medical costs associated with doctor visits, medicine, and other special food supplies.

2. For the kids - If you love kids, and have the means, your donation would help us throw a Luau at the orpahnage we visit.  We've been told this has become their favorite time of the year, second only to Christmas.  Typically this runs around $300 US dollars to cover food for 40+ people.  We reuse decorations from previous years, play games, do face painting and bust out a pinata or two...it's a celebration!

3. Facility Maintenance - Your donation could help replace sections of rotting wood on the eves of the buildings, or other structural repairs, plumbing and electrical supplies and painting.  Some of our volunteers are contractors that donate their time and skill that help us to accomplish so much, with very little.

Mission Trip...June 2015.

Every team member is paying for their own transportation to San Diego, CA; 100% of your donation goes directly to help at the orphanage and with the building projects.  Not one cent goes for administration or organization costs, we are all volunteers.  My wife and I have been organizing mission trips to Mexico since 2012.  We pay our own way, just like the other volunteers, and we personally cover any shortfall the group may incur along the way.  Any extra funds at the end of the mission trip will be sent as a second donation to the orphange.

We are excited to see how we can serve and encourage the people that are helping to care for these kids in Mexico.

We appreciate your support.
