Hi,
I am writing this today to ask for your help. A friend told me about this site and I thought it's worth a try and I dont know what else to do.
My mom is an amazing woman and she has done so much in her life for everyone. Her family, her friends, her community and just about every stray animal in South Texas. She has a heart of gold and she never asks for anything.
She has so much love and has given so much for so long to so many in need. She's all I have and I am her only child. She's 63 and has had a tough couple years. Like many of us I know. She lost her father last year, my awesome Pawpaw. She has been taking care of her mother, my incredible Memaw who is fighting the cancer fight. My mom has COPD and has had for some time now, she had heart surgery this year and made it through that. She still cuts hair to and has been a hair dresser for 40 years now.
I just found out yesterday she has been in the hospital for several days now. She didnt want me to worry I am stuck here in Colorado and worrying of course. She grew up and currently lives in a small town in South Texas called Beeville.
At the moment and why I am reaching out is I found out her home had a pipe burst sometime last year and not telling me or being able to address it fast enough it has become infested with mold. This has had to trigger the hospitalization. With her COPD and fostering pets I was told she couldnt breathe and she has fluid on her lungs.
I cant let her go back into this house without fixing it and getting it clean. She has always always dreamed of having a park model or tiny house home. I am trying this to raise money to do that for her. I need her and I want to see her not work so hard. I just want her to be okay and make it through this. I just started a new job here in Colorado less than three months ago and am stuck at the moment. I am praying and staying positive. All i know now is that she hasnt been able to sleep in days, the doctors cant do anyhthing until they know exactly what it is and she camt lay flat or her breathing stops so they cant to a cat scan.
I am asking for help for this incredible, amazing , beautiful , the most unselfish human being I know. I am so lucky to be able to call her mom.
All this help will be going towards a new clean park model home or tiny house and medical bills as well as a hospital air purifier machine. If I cant raise that much I will use whatever I can to have her current house redone and get all the mold out.
