Help me record my first album!

Hello friends and family members!

I hope everyone is having a smooth transition into the new school or work year!

I want to start this out out by giving a short life update for those who may not know what I’ve been up to. This year, after a 2 year gap, I returned to school. I just started at New School as a songwriting major and I’m loving it so far. It’s been so refreshing to be surrounded by musicians again and to be stimulating my mind in a university setting. There’s something about taking time off that has made me really appreciate the education I’m now receiving.

In my time off, I worked at Crunch Fitness as a personal trainer along with training clients privately. I learned so much from that experience about the human body, different types of people not in the arts, and about how health and fitness plays a role in everyones lives. I would not change anything how I spent these past two years and I feel so lucky to have been able to gain these experiences.

Now here’s my reason for making this GoFundMe: I am in the process of recording my first full length album. I have been looking forward to this project since I was a freshman in high school and am SO excited to make that dream into reality. What I’m asking of you, friends and family, is to help me fund this project. There are many costs that will go into the execution of this project –– paying for studio time, compensating the musicians who will play on it, and compensating the sound engineer who will spend hours recording and mixing the songs. All of these costs will amount to approximately $3,000. Even though I am still working, it is very difficult for me to independently finance this project on my own while also financing my own life, especially now that I’m balancing work with school. I am asking you to help me raise $2,500 to make this project come to life. Any donation will be so greatly appreciated and helpful.

I promise to keep everyone updated in this process. For starters, I have already made the 11 demos at home and have booked space this coming weekend at Big Orange Sheep studios where my incredible drummer Guy Paz will record drums on every song.

For donations $5-$24, I will write you a personal thank you note, mailed to your place of residency!

For donations $25-$49, I will send you a hand made bracelet, made from the string of an instrument!

For donations $50-$74, I will send you a pair of hand made instrument string earrings!

For donations $75-99, I will send you a pair of hand made instrument string earrings, as well as a personal thank you note

For donations $100-199, I will send you a set of instrument string earrings and a bracelet, as well as a personal thank you note

For donations $200 or higher, I will send you a set of an instrument string necklace, earrings, and a bracelet, as well as a personal thank you note

Most of the jewelry is made out of guitar strings, but some are made from banjo, dulcimer, mandolin, violin, bass… pretty much any stringed instrument we have lying around :)

Attached are some photos of earrings, bracelets, and necklaces so you can see the style.

I’ve also included some photos and videos of drummer Guy Paz, bassist Ean Valte, and sound engineer Michael Perez-Cisneros as they are a HUGE part of this project. I’ve been working with these people for over 2 years each and am so grateful for their additions to this music. The pictures in the studio are all taken from the last EP we worked on together.
