Hi, it’s me again, Larry’s little sister, Denise.  Once again I’m trying to raise money for Larry’s medical bills. He has metastatic squamous neck cancer. As you may know, insurance doesn’t cover all of the costs and cancer treatment is insanely expensive. Your help will go towards his out-of-pocket expenses for treatments, plus expenses when he’s unable to work.

So far we know that the cancer is in his lymph node and tonsil. We’re waiting for his insurance company to approve a PET scan to see if it’s anywhere else in his body. He’s supposed to start chemo and radiation next week, assuming the insurance company gets its act together. Yes, chemo AND radiation, both at the same time, for this kind of cancer. He has to do this 6 days a week, for 6 weeks and then we hope and pray (real hard) that he doesn’t need surgery.

When Larry had his bike accident his friends, co-workers, clients, biking friends, bowling buddies, and everyone else were so generous and kind. So many people reached out to help him in many different ways and I’m hoping you’ll all be there for him again. Stressing about money to pay for all of this is really unhealthy for him right now, so I hope you’ll help relieve the stress so he can stay positive and concentrate on getting better. He’s all I have, please help!
