Abbie Winson's daughters Julie and Suzi are creating ART AND CIRCUSES, a gallery dedicated to her artworks spanning 7 decades.

The gallery will be in the upstairs space at Circus Warehouse, as its own entity, The first show will be a retrospective of her work, opening slated for June 9th, and will be up for an entire year to give her widespread and varied crowd of friends and admirers the chance to see her oevre in the most complete collection yet to be assembled.

Abbie did not want a memorial. The opening of the gallery will function as a celebration of her life in art. It will involve the showing of works on paper, canvas, and performances of the mixed-media works that she initiated (and some that she intended to do), with dancers, acrobats and musicians.

In lieu of flowers or customary offerings, please give to her ART AND CIRCUSES gallery fund.

Your gift will help underwrite the retrospective and gallery by contributing to opening expenses including lighting, flooring, wall-painting, and moving and framing of Abbie's works. All contributors will receive a poster of the event.
