Help raise money for Professor Ferro’s surgery
Donation protected
After the military, Anthony opened his own Brazilian jiu jitsu school, Ferro Academy. His service dog, Freedom, his school, and passion for jiu jitsu are the only things that help him daily. Anthony suffered a bucket tear in his meniscus. He is unable to walk or do jiu jitsu. Anthony was supposed to get his surgery on Monday the 14th, but they pushed him back til Wednesday the 16th because the VA wouldn’t cover the cost of the procedure. Now Anthony has to figure out a way to pay for his surgery on his own. Not only is the pain unbearable but Anthony needs the surgery to be available to train his students, run his business, and continue competing. Let us all help and support him in any way we can!
"Jiu jitsu saved my life and now I have the opportunity to help others in the same way." says Professor Anthony Ferro
On June 6th, 2006 Anthony's life was changed forever when he was involved in a landmine explosion, while he was left physically unharmed no amount of training would prepare him for the emotional and mental battles that would follow the event.
