Hi everybody!
My name is John Burke, and I'm a freshman at the University of Michigan-Dearborn. Currently, I'm pursuing my major in International Affairs and my minor in Arabic. After graduation, I plan either to go to law school, or to work with the federal government.
Recently I've been accepted into an internship program in Washington D.C. named the Leadership and The Presidency. This program is put on through The Fund for American Studies in partnership with the Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation. Through this program, I could potentially be put into a Congressional office, or an office in an agency, virtually anywhere.
This money would go towards Housing, Tuition, and Program costs. This is the opportunity of a lifetime to me, and I would greatly appreciate any amount of money that could be given for it. The tuition deadline is May 2nd, 2016, but if necessary, I can work around it. I'm also trying to apply for as many scholarships as I can, and work with my university for this, but I don't know how that will pan out.
