Cafe Verde Imports is an
organic and fair trade coffee importing company that works directly with small
farms and cooperatives all over the world.
2 years ago, Cafe Verde Imports was started with the little bit of money that our founder had. Our mission has always been to work directly with coffee farmers in order to bring a green, sustainable, and environmentally friendly product to the United States. We seek out and travel to rural and mountainous regions in Central and South America and East Africa, where the best coffee in the world is grown. Now, we supply numerous specialty roasters with authentic organic coffee beans.
However, the company can no longer sustain itself with the little money we have. Right now we are working out two deals that urgently need additional funding:
First, we are expanding into a huge market in Colorado. If we can reach our funding goal, we will be providing Colorado coffee drinkers with truly organic, fair trade, direct farm relationship coffee from seed to cup.
Second, with your help and donations, we will be able to launch our very own Sustainable Tourism Organization. Soon, we will be equipped to send tourists and volunteers on what we call, "sustainable tourism trips." Starting in Central America, travelers will be able to go to countries like Honduras and Nicaragua and live the life like an authentic villager. You will be able to walk the streets, work the farm, and hike the mountains, while working directly with the people.
We have the framework all set, but we need funding in order to advertise and promote this incredible opportunity.

Some farms have lost their entire years crop and don't have any other means of income. With your donation we will soon be able to send volunteers and tourists directly to the coffee farms to support the workers.
All donators who contribute $100, or more, will receive fresh roasted organic coffee beans. For larger donations we will gladly send multiple packages of coffee straight do your door!
