Help Kari Cobiness & Son’s Return Home

Update April 30/2022 post in bottom

Hello, My name is Kari Cobiness and I am a 29 year old mother from Winnipeg, MB. I have two sons Khalid, 4 and Ziad, 18 months old and currently I am in Casablanca, Morocco with them. I originally came back here with hopes of building my life and future but it didn’t work out that way.
I became a victim to domestic violence, i was assaulted on many occasions if not everyday, july 13/2021 at 21:45 am midnight i was assaulted in my home,  the police and authorities are involved and now i’m trying to return back home Due to the pandemic a-lot has changed for many of us around and all over the world, I flew back to Canada to have my son Ziad, who was born prematurely at 1 pound he is currently on Thyroid medication that he has to take till hes 4 years old,  I returned to Morocco on January 5, 2021 thinking positive that i could make a living as before but with covid 19, the economy has change drastically.. i’m unable to work as i do not have the proper documents to work aboard Unfortunately it has been very difficult for me to meet my needs daily and i urgently need to return home to Winnipeg, MB, Canada. Returning home allows me to obtain the resources needed for my little family and my son’s medical needs. As well as being safe within my own homelands

I am currently staying in a temporary home, where I can stay until I can book my flights home. I signed a contract with the owner that is in place for 1 year, Now I need to raise money for my airfare and to pay for shelter (home) until my return flight home is booked These times have been unusual, and being a single mom out here has been very difficult for me to obtain the resources I need. I wasn’t able to meet Canada’s loan program with the Canadian region loan for Canadian citizens living aboard/or aboard i was denied airfare home and am having a difficult time finding the support and financial funds to return home. I have contact my leadership as well back home in canada, buffalo point first nation refuses to respond to my 450 + emails and calls i have reached out to grand chiefs as well and the national chief regarding my situation and nothing has been successful This is my last resort to get me and my babies home .

The money will be used to book the return flight home for my two sons, myself and to pay for my shelter until the return date home is booked as well as cover our 3 PCR tests needed to board the flights back to canada.  My resources are running out and help would be greatly appreciated. This journey has been hard and I want to return home to my family with both my boys

Anything helps it really does. Thank you all and to those whom take the time to read and also to those who have followed my story with love
Kari, khalid and ziad

Thank you
