<div>During my rehab and recovery from my previous injury. I had a bad fall &amp; have re ruptured my ACL and torn both meniscus.

<div>Unfortunately this time it is more complicated &amp; requires multiple surgeries to remove and repair it. To make matters worse, I was out of contract at the football club and my insurance won’t cover it, as it was within 12 months of my previous injury.

<div>This being my 2nd ACL injury makes this incredibly tough for me to take. Those that know me, know that this is something I’ve struggled with over the past year and being so close to returning makes it a bitter pill to swallow.

<div>The cost of the surgeries alone is in excess of £18,000, I’m not expecting to get near that but any contribution makes a difference.
</div>

<div>I recently learned that the NHS waiting list is over a year for the surgery. This putting my recovery time over 2 and 1/2 years from now. Having been out for a year already I didn’t think it could get much tougher.
</div>

<div>It’s incredibly hard to ask for help, but I’ve come to realise this isn’t something I can face alone. This injury hasn’t just impacted my ability to play — being self employed, it’s impacted my ability to earn a living, to walk freely without pain, and to build the future I’ve worked so hard for.
