As a mother you’re suppose to love, support and protect your baby. Your baby is always suppose to come first! This story I’m about to tell is not only confusing but also heartbreaking. It’s short because the story makes no sense.
My niece Rosalie Marie Pantoja was born on November 4th, 2016. I remember how excited my brother was and how eager he was for me to choose a name.
My brother moved back to New York and was separated from Rosalie and his newborn baby boy Junior, who is almost 2 years old because of problems he was having with his baby mother and her family in Ohio. Despite the distance and drama, my brother kept in touch with both his babies because the mother made it impossible to see them.
My brother warned child protective services that he didn’t feel as if his kids were safe when he found out she started dating her oldest daughters father after he just came out of prison. She made it harder and harder for my brother to have contact with his babies.
Today, July 12th, 2019 at 5:30pm Rosalie was pronounced dead in a hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. The doctors were told by her mother and her mother’s boyfriend that she fell at the park. The mother took her home instead of to the hospital and she had a seizure. They called the ambulance and by the time they arrived she was pronounced dead. Rosalie was taken to the hospital along with my nephew Junior and her other 2 half siblings. Her mother and boyfriend were arrested for suspects to murder. Her mother’s boyfriend brother who’s is also an accomplice is on the run. When the doctors removed her clothing at the hospital they found bruises on her body along with broken bones. The social worker told my brother Rosalie was abused and death is still unknown. My nephew had bruises on him as well as one of the half siblings. The boyfriends daughter was the only child who was okay.
We’re all dumbfounded, hurt and we just want to bring her home to bury her around family. This hit too close to home and we’re still trying to figure out what really happened to Rosalie. Not only do we have to get brothers baby girl from Ohio to NY but we also have to get his baby boy as well. No one is ever truly prepared for a tragedy like this. So, I ask on my brothers behalf for any help possible.
Please also send your prayers and hope Rosalie gets the Justice she’s deserves.
