Jon Hardy's Medical Fund

Our names are Marina Shea and Carl Gordon.  Jon Hardy is married to my childhood friend Connie.  They together have 5 daughters and are about to have their 6th grandchild.  They are a big Italian family!  He has a heart of gold and is a giver in this life.  All that know Jon love him and you cannot be around him without laughing and smiling at his witty sense of humor.  Over the last 4 years he has fallen on hard times with his profession.   He worked for a large company that downsized all the employees that were over 50!  He then went to New Mexico for the same company because he could not find work here and he did not want to lose his house.  Another manager hired him in New Mexico.  The family stayed here and this was thought to be temporary.  He worked for this company for over 35 years.  Finally after 3 years Jon was hired by Washington State.  He was abruptly let go after 3 months and given no reason.   His health insurance was abruptly stopped.  He has diligently been interviewing for jobs.  This week Jon fell sick  with a medical emergency that resulted in him having abdominal surgery.  This is a catastrophic event for the family.  They have always been the givers and now they are in need in a big way!  The funds will help with medical costs and to make sure they don't lose their house.  We are uncertain as to when he can get back on the road to health and back to work.   If you feel moved to help in any way it would mean the world to them and to us.
