Save Artur's eyesight

My name is Karine and I need your help raise $4000 for my cousin Artur to prevent him going completely blind.

I first met Artur in 1999 when he was a mere teenager. He and his siblings had already lost their father in a car accident and his mother had remarried and lived in a different city. Artur and his three other brothers have been looked after by my aunt, his uncle (my aunt's only remaining son) and his wife, since the accident. 

The profile picture was taken a couple of weeks ago upon my second visit to Armenia.   The document in front of us is one of several medical analyses of Artur's condition. Artur is going blind because of 'pigmental ambiotrophy of retina'.   Basically, he has constricted field of vision in both eyes and they are deteriorating to a point where has already lost vision from one eye and I would like us to save the other eye from going completely blind.

I personally witnessed his inability to see as he took a few steps to join the rest of us in the living room  from the balcony.  He knocked a chair and cell phone along the way before he sat down patting the surrounding with one hand.

Artur has been given hope that doctors in Germany can save his other eye from losing complete sight.

Artur has no parents to fend for him, my aunt is now 84 and too frail and his uncle has three children of his own to care for.  Artur needs our help.  I hope to raise the money within six weeks and have it delivered to him.
