Giles' Summer Singing 2013

Hello everyone! Thank you for visiting! The purpose of this fundraiser is so I can cover the costs for me to attend two summer singing programs. The first is Opera Maya in Tulum, Mexico and the second is AIMS, the American Institute of Musical Studies, in Graz, Austria. This is the first summer I will have the opportunity to study various aspects of voice, language, and performance outside of the United States. Both programs provide a wealth of experience and learning which will be greatly beneficial to me in two ways. The first, as I return to my second year of graduate school at Western Michigan University and can integrate concepts learned and performance experience into my studies and teaching duties. Secondly, to continue to cultivate professional relationships formed after I graduate and make my way into a full time performance career. While I expect to receive some scholarship money from these programs there are still costs which I need to cover, such as travel and food. Any amount that y'all can contribute to this fundraiser, no matter how small, helps immensely! I could not take advantage of these amazing opportunities without your love and support!
