My heart stopped beating when my dad, John Ross Sr. died a sudden and extremely unexpected death on July 10, 2016. This was an awesome man, he worked hard for his family; he took care of us in every way possible; he was my first love, his son's best and only friend, and the love of my mothers life. He was by far the most awesome play-mate to all 7 of his grandchildren. They truly loved to see him coming...
Last but not least, he was a awesome brother, uncle, cousin and cool humble friend, always there when anyone needed him, mostly know for his mechanic work. If you didn't have a dime to pay him, he would STILL happily get you back on the road again no matter what. My dad worked as a welder for most of his life, but his most recent job unfortunately did not provide insurance. My mom worked all of her years as a licensed cosmetologist for which she is not insured neither.
As I type and ask any and everyone for any type of assistance, I am sitting here listening to my mom make several phone calls to funeral homes asking about prices. My heart is breaking. It's so unreal that I just saw my dad yesterday smiling and happy to see his grandchildren come out to their home to have Sunday dinner, to now at this moment hearing the sweet but broken voice of my mom making arrangements to saying goodbye to her life-long love.
I plead that anyone, whether you knew this awesome, caring, humble, funny guy that I call dad, or if you just know me or anyone related, or even if you just happened to come across this page by some way, please find it in your heart to donate. Anything will help, as it is already a huge burden to loose a family member, but even more-so in the same moments deal with financial arrangements.
