Bringing God's Love to Uganda
God's has opened a door for us to build a school and meet the needs of the orphaned and underprivileged children of Ssese Island, Uganda! Life is especially difficult for the children of Maboga village as there are many orphans due to AIDS, and due to unsafe working conditions that lead to death by crocodile attacks or drowning. Children's Sure House (www.childrenssurehouse.com) has been serving this community since 2006, but has lacked the resources to build a permanent structure there. The Treasure Valley Church of Boise, Idaho along with help from the Big Island Church in Hilo, Hawaii generously raised the funds to purchase property and begin development. Our plan now is to go Uganda and finish the construction of the school. We will also be bringing clothing and school supplies with us to support the ongoing success of this project. God has brought together a team of 17 brave disciples of Jesus from across the U. S. who will be leaving for Uganda on May 29th.
