I am an actor, cabaret/circus performer, producer originally from Newcastle, England and now living and working in LA.
After only a year of relocating to the states I have had the most amazing opportunities and met some of the most amazing people and have just been confirmed to represent England in this year's Queen Of The Universe pageant!
For those of you who know me I am not the stereo-typical early 20's stick-thin, ditzy, barbie-doll beauty pageant type!! After years of being compared to Sandra Bullock I feel like I'm basically living out 'Miss Congeniality'!
Firstly I am so psyched to have been selected to represent England and to promote not only physical beauty, but a beauty of passionate ambition, high-spirited personality along with the general sense of bad-assery (oh yes that's a word) with which i have learnt to approach life .. (and always with sense of mischievous humour).
Secondly I fully support the cause of Queen Of the Universe - supporting the UNESCO motto, "Teach a child how to fish and you'll feed him his entire life." I personally have experienced that education - whether it be in the form of skills or knowledge - provides the ability to take control of your own happiness and success and ultimately is the key to independently changing your own quality of life.
In order to compete I need to raise $1500 of sponsorship by April 3rd. Please, if you believe that I should be representing England in this competition, just $1 from each of my Facebook friends would send me on my way!! The remanding amount will be submitted when I actually take part in the pageant this December so am leaving this funding page live until then for anyone who wants to support me and UNESCO over the year. Thank you Thank you so much to everyone who has sent their messages of support and encouragement - it has helped to convince me that I am not delusional for having got involved in the first place!! ;)
