Hi, I am Suzanne Stacy. I live in Sarasota, FL but, I am from Chicago.
I still work very hard trying to keep my very small business & for 9.5 years worked part-time for a local company 5 days a week as well. The woman that owned it has terminal cancer, which breaks my heart. She has sold the business which took away all of the income that helped me stay afloat when my business could not cover expenses.
I have many health issues that keeps me limited as to what I can do somethimes but, I never give up. I have just landed another part-time position and am praying that it will work out.
While all of this is happening, my landlord told me he wants to sell the condo that I have rented for almost 7 yrs. I have an opportuntiy to buy it with 20% down and a 3 year balloon with help. I had a person that I thought was a friend tell me for 1.5 years, if it ever came up he would gift me a down payment. That gift has become a LIEN that he would require a hold of my home. So that gift is no longer available. Neither is that FRIEND..
The money would be used to keep a roof over my head and give me a bit of seccurity for the 1st time in my life.
I have raised 3 kids without child support, I would work 3 jobs at a time while trying to go to school. I'm now going on 65 this year and my energy is not availavle to work that much anymore.
I have looked everywhere to find a palce to live that was afforadable but, everything is very, very high. Where I live and want to stay is the least expensive condo or apartment in the area and that includes mobile home parks. The land leases are higher than I can afford.
I help other people every chance I can, fundraiser ect. I am praying that someone will help me..........
