Blake Thweatt Final Expense Fund

Donation protected

On July 2, 2016, our dear friend, Angie McKenzie, experienced the worst nightmare that a parent can experience -  the loss of a child.  Her beautiful, handsome, sweet spirited son, Jeffrey  "Blake" Thweatt passed away unexpectedly at the way too tender age of 27.

Blake was a wonderful, vivacious and fun loving young man who loved life, his mother Angie, his little sister Chelsea, his Aunt Niece (Deanna McKenzie Sullivan) and most importantly, Jesus Christ.  Blake worked full time for Bellevue Baptist Church and found much peace and contentment in tending  to Bellevue's beautiful lawns and gardens.

Unfortunately, as with many young adults, Blake did not anticipate nor prepare for death at such a young age and had not secured life insurance so the burden of his final expenses have fallen solely on his mother's shoulders.

For those of you who know Angie, know that these past few years have been wrought with major challenges from Chelea's 2011 near fatal automobile accident that has left Chelsea with life changing and ongoing medical needs as well as the passing of Angie and Niece's precious mother, Diana Willis, in 2014 after an extended and long battle with cancer.

Angie has been hit so hard physically,  emotionally and financially over these past few years and simply put, she does not have the funds to lay her son to rest.

She is one of the most kind hearted, caring and loving people that I have ever met and she is loved by so many. It is my hope and desire that we can help Angie by raising enough money to remove the financial burden of laying her son to rest.

Unfortunately, the funeral home does not allow for payments over time and as a result, Angie has had to borrow the money for her son's burial from a third party.  Repayment of the loan will strap Angie and take away from her and Chelsea's already meager household expense fund.

Proverbs 19:17
Whoever is generous to the poor lends to the Lord, and He will repay him for his deed.

Please prayerfully consider making a donation to assist Angie with re-payment of Blake's final expenses loan.

Sincerely,
