Heather Planert/Fraidy Krueger's surgery

Hello fellow friends/family of Heather/Fraidy! My name is Jennifer Weber/HitBull, and I am Heather's friend, roommate, co-worker, and teammate (let's just say we see each other a lot - haha). Let me tell you about a situation that one of the nicest, and most generous, people I know is in...

Heather recently got diagnosed with compartment syndrome in her legs. This syndrome (short story) causes extreme pressure, and pain, in her shin area when doing a lot of types of exercise (yes, this includes roller derby). Unfortunately the only way to fix this is surgery. Heather's health insurance deductible is $2500, and since I work where she works I know how long it would take to come up with this kind of money. Heather is in a tough place right now where she has to decide to either continue doing derby (something she help start and LOVES) until she has to leave because she can't stand the pain anymore, or have surgery.

Heather has done SO much to help SO many other people in need that I think it's time for her good karma to kick in. She doesn't know that I'm creating this Go Fund Me page for her, and she's not the type to ask for help.....ever. My plea is for all of us who know and love Heather as much as we do, to help her out. Please consider making a donation towards her deductible so that she can continue doing what she loves without the extreme pain it can cause her. I know that times are tough financially for a lot of us, but any amount that you can contribute would help out. Let's help this wonderful person who wouldn't hesitate to help anyone else in need.
