Do you remember doing amazing paintings at school and thinking you were picasso? Or having a sore throat and someone was always there to give you medicine to make it better? Do you remember kicking the ball in the park with your friends, and riding your bikes up and down the street? Do you remember always wanting "one more" story book before bed? Then being tucked in, with your favourite pyjamas on, with a roof over your head and a full belly of food?
Well you are one of the lucky ones! You were lucky enough to be born into a society where you were given a chance at life!
So many children aren't.
So im off to help out where i can, and id love you to help out too!
As some of you may know im off to volunteer in Vietnam,Cambodia and Nepal in August. I have saved my money, paid for my flights, paid the agency to volunteer, collected unwanted childrens clothes to take with me, and im ready to rock!
But i feel i can do so much more with a bit of your help. I have set this fundraiser up, so you can donate money into an account that i will personally be in charge of. On arrival to my destinations i will round up supplies from local shops and pharmacies to ensure these children have the basics in life, like warm clothes, coloured pencils and pens, medicine, educational supplies, toilet paper... all those things we take for granted! I hope to raise a mer $3000, which is $1000 for each orphanage. Im not asking for you to donate your kidneys, or not eat for a week. I just want you to take a minute out of your busy life and think about somebody but yourself. Do your good deed for the day! Your always gunna make more money!! To those of you that donate i will try and personally send you photos of the smiles on the childrens faces, which in turn should make you smile, and we will be one step closer to world peace!! ;o) hehe.. honestly tho- you were born into a society where you were given a chance at life, give others that chance at life too- WHY? Coz you can!!!
