The family of Torquil French has asked for your attendance at the Celebration of Life/Funeral that will be held at Roberson Funeral Home & Crematory located at 2151 Tamiami Trail Port Charlotte, Fl 33949 on Wednesday August 3rd, 2016.
Services will begin promptly at 6 P.M. Everyone is welcome to attend. The family has requested dressy attire for this event. Thank you again for all that has donated as well as prayed and please continue to keep this family in your prayers.
UPDATE: 7-25-16 Thank you to all that came and helped as well as donated money for the fundraiser. As of now there are final details being worked on for the funeral and as soon as this information is avialable it will posted. Please continue to keep the family in your prayers as they try to work through this terrible time. Again THANK YOU to everyone !!!

There is a Spaghetti dinner fundraiser planned on Sunday, July 24, 2016 to help raise money for the funeral costs. Cost will be $10.00 per person and everyone is invited :)Time for this event is 5 pm. The location is American Legion Post 110 located at: 3152 Harbor Blvd, Port Charlotte, FL 33952. Thank you for all the love and support!
More details of his funeral will be coming soon once a decision has been made. Thank you again.
UPDATE: I have some very sad news...Torquil passed away today due to complications and his familiy really needs help with funeral expenses and to take care of his son that was left behind. This was very sudden and the family .Please help this familiy through this tough time. Torquil touched many lives and the outpouring of love has been apprecaited. Once the family has decided on arrangements it will be announced. Thank you for all the prayers and love shown by all.
This is for a dear friend of ours who went into a routine surgery and ended up in ICU on July 6th. He went in to repair a torn rotator cuff that was torn while playing a game . While he was recovering at the outpatient center he developed pulmonary edema and was rushed to the ER. His organs began to fail, including his kidneys. The started dialysis but it was not working. His pulse-oxygen was at 40%, less than half of what it's supposed to be. This morning, July 7th, his lungs stopped working. So far they haven't been able to get him stable enough to move him to a better hospital. At this point things don't look good but we are praying for the best.
He is a doting single father of a 9 year old boy and loving brother who is alaways given the shirt off his back. Now its his turn for help. His mother came down from New York this morning but his siblings are still there. Unfortunately we can not afford plane tickets to bring them down to see their brother. There are also tens, maybe hundreds, of thousands of dollars in hospital bills coming, necessities for his son, and other unpredictable expenses.
All money will be funded directly to his mother. Please help bring his siblings down and help with bills and the care of his son.
