Wings & A Prayer is a local black-owned soul food restaurant behind our home in East Liberty run by Keith and his lovely wife. This couple works hard to make a living for their family and their food is wonderful!! Their ribs are nothing short of incredible and the man in the Nest Camera video below drove up and stole their smoker on Saturday, May 1st at 9am!
Keith and his wife are two of the kindest, hardest working folks in our community. As hard working restaurateurs, they are seeking the American dream and created the beloved Wings and A Prayer restaurant. This restaurant has elevated our community’s cultural experience and has rave reviews on Google!
The Covid-19 pandemic hit the everyone hard and the theft of this smoker incredibly unfair. They’ve worked to expand their business and invested heavily in a new location and supplies. Sadly, on Saturday, May 1st, the thief in the video stole their smoker and I really hope we can help show them how much the community supports them during this difficult time.
The man below drove up and stole their smoker on Saturday, May 1st at 9am ---
The man, caught on a Nest camera, pulled up in a white van and stole the smoker that Keith and his wife rely on for their livelihood. I would like us to help the police pursue leads and show this video to anyone who can help us identify the culprit. I hope my Nest doorbell camera will help us all identify the thief so he can be served the justice he deserves.
Next, my goal is to bring our community together to show our support and buy them a commercial grade smoker and grill that can be secured or rolled away when not in use. Can you help? Let's Keith and his wife a commercial smoker and grill!
