Help Build Warrior Alley

Donation protected
We are the Kansas City Roller Warriors (KCRW), Kansas City's original all-female flat track roller derby league. What started in 2004 as a grassroots effort to offer women an alternative sport to play has grown to become a highly functioning league comprised of four home teams, two travel teams, a junior league and "Wreck" league. Together, we are made up of approximately 175 skaters and volunteers.

As a skater-owned, skater-operated league, we are proud of the great strides we've already made. Yet 2013 brought us an opportunity few leagues get: we acquired our own practice facility, Warrior Alley.

We invested our own dollars in the front-end demolition and floor resurfacing for our league, and we originally set up this page to help raise additional funds for Warrior Alley. Unfortunately, an electrical fire occurred at the facility on June 21, which has left us temporarily displaced. To us, this is a devastating loss.

The mission of KCRW is to foster a positive, hardworking sisterhood that empowers women and girls to be healthy, confident athletes, role models, leaders, and active contributors to our community both on and off the track. We can continue to do this with your support.

Thank you for helping us in our efforts!
