The 2003 Chelsea Chiefs Gold Bantam AA Hockey is going on to USA HOCKEY NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS, APRIL 5th THROUGH THE 9th. The Chiefs put together an outstanding year, topped off by winning the Chelsea Hockey Association's first MAHA State Title.
The Chiefs had an outstanding season, through hard work, dedication and commitment, the boys continue the season by competing in the National Tournament in Amherst, NY. Pushing forward, the boys hope to add to this year's championships: Bauer Legacy Invite, Little Caesar's - Yzerman Division, Little Caesar's Playoff - Norris Division, Silver Sticks Regional, District 6, and MAHA State Championship. During the State tournament the boys had to overcome the loss of a player to a broken wrist, and carry on with toughness and determination to over come the pains of a dislocated thumb, a broken finger, and many bruises, to successfully defeat the Troy Sting 7-2 for the State Title. And now, on to NATIONALS!!
The trip to Nationals on April 5th-9th is an amazing opportunity for this group of 14 year old boys. The opportunity to go out and represent not only themselves, but also the CHA, MAHA, the community in which they live and the entire State of Michigan is accepted with honor and pride.
Any support you can give to this list of boys by, April 5th, to help them go out and continue on their journey to become a National Champion is greatly appreciated.
