Help Fund Camp For Our Youth Group

Hello Family and Friends,
COVID-19 has affected us all in different ways. For all of us, normalcy was thrown out the door and we had to adapt. As a result of the virus and our government’s safety measures our youth group’s summer camp was canceled. We have been going to Campus by the Sea on Catalina Island for over 30 years as a church. This is the first year we won’t be going. I realize camp is a privilege, but for most of our students, camp is the highlight of their year. As a result, our Youth Ministry team at Mountain View Community Church is putting together our own camp to mimic (as much as possible) the experience at Campus by the Sea. Here is where you come in.
Typically, starting in January our youth kids do a number of fundraisers to earn their way to camp. Camp usually runs about $420 per student. We are looking at doing camp for $200 per student. This will allow more students to attend and won’t be as much of a financial burden for their families. We are trying to raise $5,000 to offset cost for students, rent a shower trailer, buy supplies to run camp, etc. Can we get 100 people to donate $50 to help make camp happen? Maybe 200 people donating $25? No matter how it happens we believe God will provide and our alternative form of camp will be AWESOME! Thank you for your prayers and donation consideration.
